Oct 14, 2018; Foxborough, MA, USA; Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill (10) celebrates with wide receiver Chris Conley (17) and offensive tackle Jordan Devey (65) after scoring a touchdown during the fourth quarter against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill said he thought about flashing his famous peace sign celebration after his 75-yard touchdown catch against the Patriots Sunday night toward the group of fans who heckled him in the end zone afterward, including one who doused him with beer.

“Yeah I did, but at the moment we were losing so I felt like it wasn't really necessary at the moment.”

The Patriots said stadium security identified the fan, whom the club said would “be sent a letter of disinvite to all future events at Gillette Stadium. The Boston Herald reported the 21-year-old Mansfield, Massachusetts, man, whose name was not released, will be summoned to Wrentham District Court to face charges at a later date.

Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN on Monday that both himself and Hill wanted authorities to take action.

“That type of behavior is unacceptable,” Rosenhaus said. “Players have to be protected. We want that fan to be prosecuted.”

Hill declined further comment in the locker room on Friday.

“No comment at all, I ain't got no comment on that,” Hill said. “The Patriots did their thing. I'm just going to let them handle that and whatever they feel is right to happen to him, he deserved it.
