KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs list 14 players on the initial injury report for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Defensive end Allen Bailey (concussion), wide receiver Junior Hemingway (concussion) and guard Mike McGlynn (calf) did not practice.
But the players are “making progress,” coach Andy Reid told reporters after Wednesday morning’s walk-through.
Hemingway sustained his concussion in Week 12 and did not play last week, while Bailey and McGlynn suffered their respective injuries in Week 13.
The Chiefs list wide receiver Donnie Avery (groin), tight end Anthony Fasano (knee) and linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) as limited participants.
Running back Jamaal Charles, who dealt with a bruised knee after Week 13’s game, practiced fully Wednesday.
Charles should be fine for Sunday’s game barring a setback.
The Chiefs also list as full participants: Punter Dustin Colquitt (calf), cornerback Jamell Fleming (hamstring), linebacker Dee Ford (quad), linebacker James-Michael Johnson (back, knee), linebacker Josh Mauga (back), cornerback Chris Owens (knee, abdomen) and cornerback Sean Smith (groin).
Arizona lists seven players on the initial report, including wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who put in a limited practice.
Fitzgerald, an eight-time Pro Bowl selection, missed the last two games dealing with a knee injury.
