PFF’s early picks for the 2019 Pro Bowl | NFL Analysis | Pro Football Focus

Matt Derrick December 14, 2018

Six Chiefs are among the early selections for the Pro Football Focus Pro Bowl honors.

PFF's selections for the Chiefs includes QB Patrick Mahomes, WR Tyreek Hill, TE Travis Kelce, RT Mitchell Schwartz, DE Chris Jones and LB Dee Ford. All six certainly deserve Pro Bowl recognition.

Two other Chiefs certainly deserve consideration. PFF selected Denver's Andy Janovich as the fullback, mostly due to his 200 snap count. Chiefs FB Anthony Sherman has a higher grade than Janovich but only 86 snaps.

Punter Dustin Colquitt ranks second in the AFC in net punt yardage and ahead of Baltimore's Sam Koch, the selection of PFF. Colquitt is having one of the best seasons of his career.

Two other Chiefs deserve consideration. Cornerbacks Steven Nelson and Kendall Fuller both rank among the top 20 rated corners in the league by PFF. Nelson is the most targeted corner in the league, and is still turning in his best season in his four-year career.
