Flowers inactive against Giants

Flowers inactive against Giants

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chiefs starting cornerback Brandon Flowers (knee) headlines the list of inactives for Sunday’s game against the Giants.

Joining Flowers as inactive are starting guard Jeff Allen (groin) and tight end Anthony Fasano (ankle, knee).

Veteran defensive back Dunta Robinson is expected to start in place of Flowers, who did not practice on Friday. The Chiefs also have Marcus Cooper and Ron Parker at cornerback.

Backup offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz will likely draw the start in Allen’s place, while tight ends Sean McGrath and Kevin Brock will split time in place of Fasano and Travis Kelce, who was ruled out on Friday’s official NFL Injury Report.

Guard Rishaw Johnson, quarterback Tyler Bray and defensive tackle Jaye Howard round out the Chiefs inactives.
