Chiefs waive OL Colin Kelly

Chiefs waive OL Colin Kelly

Herbie Teope June 3, 2014

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs on Tuesday waived offensive lineman Colin Kelly.

Kelly, 24, originally signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State on May 1, 2013.

The 6-foot-5, 298-pound offensive lineman spent the 2013 season on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury during training camp.

Kelly’s departure places the Chiefs offseason roster at 89, leaving the team a player shy of the offseason maximum allowed at 90.

The Chiefs begin the second set of organized team activities Tuesday through Thursday.
