KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rookie center Mitch Morse is active against the San Diego Chargers.

Morse, how did not play in Week 13 while recovering from a concussion suffered in Week 12, returns to the starting lineup.

Guard Jeff Allen (ankle) is inactive and the Chiefs will move Zach Fulton, who started at center in Week 13, to left guard.

The remaining inactives are quarterback Aaron Murray, outside linebacker Justin Houston (knee), safety Husain Abdullah (concussion), wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas (concussion), defensive end Mike DeVito (concussion) and defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches.

Thomas will miss a third straight game since sustaining a concussion in Week 11.

Second-year pro Dee Ford will get a second straight start in place of Houston, while Jaye Howard will shift over to DeVito’s spot.

Defensive lineman David King is active for the first time this season.
