Chiefs sign WR Ross to practice squad

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs signed wide receiver Rashad Ross to the practice squad, according to Tuesday’s NFL Transactions report.

To make room for Ross, the Chiefs terminated the contract of offensive lineman Chandler Burden, according to the report.

Ross entered the league in May with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State. He’s a former All-Pac 12 honorable mention selection and is listed at 6’, 181 pounds. Ross ran a 4.36 40-yard dash during his Pro Day. The Titans released Ross from the practice squad on Oct. 29.

Ross worked out Tuesday for the Chiefs, Aaron Wilson of The National Football Post reports, before being signed.

The signing occurs on the same day news broke of wide receiver Dwayne Bowe’s recent arrest recent arrest for allegations surrounding speeding and possession of a controlled substance.

Notes: The NFL announced Week 13’s game between the Denver Broncos and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium has been moved to the later afternoon time slot at 4:25 p.m. ET … The game was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
