Travis Kelce Passes Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez as Chiefs’ All-Time Leading Receiver

Travis Kelce Passes Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez as Chiefs’ All-Time Leading Receiver

Matt Derrick November 5, 2023

Shake it off, Tony Gonzalez. Travis Kelce is now on top.

With his catch for 7 yards in the fourth quarter against Miami, Kelce reached 10,941 yards receiving during the regular season in his NFL career. That moves Kelce to the top spot on the franchise’s all-time leaderboard for receiving yards, bypassing Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez with 10,940 yards.

Kelce reached that total in 152 games. Gonzalez took 190 games to tally those yards with the Chiefs.

For players through the first 152 games of their career, Kelce currently ranks No. 16 all-time. He momentarily moves ahead of Tampa Bay’s Mike Evans, who has 10,932 yards through 144 games. Kelce has the most yards through 152 games of any NFL tight end. James Lofton previously held that mark with 10,696 yards.

Chiefs’ franchise all-time leaderboard in receiving yards:

  1. Travis Kelce, 10,941
  2. Tony Gonzalez 10,940
  3. Otis Taylor 7,306
  4. Dwayne Bowe 7,155
  5. Tyreek Hill 6,630
