KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs made their third and final selection of the NFL Draft’s Friday night action in selecting Wisconsin linebacker Leo Chenal, a first-team All-American last season and the Big Ten’s linebacker of the year.
Chenal racked up 115 tackles, eight sacks and a staggering 18.5 tackles for a loss last season for the Badgers before choosing to bypass his senior season and enter the NFL draft. He earned a spot on analyst Bruce Feldman’s “Freaks List” in part based on his bench pressing 420 pounds and clean lifting 385 pounds.
