Nick Jacobs: Predicting Chiefs’ 53-man roster for 2019

Matt Derrick August 9, 2019

KSHB's Nick Jacobs has posted his latest 53-man projection for the Chiefs, and the most surprising cut forecast by Jacobs is RB Carlos Hyde. The Chiefs running back picture has been a bit of a mess in camp with the hamstring injury to Damien Williams, but the Chiefs have a plethora of running backs. Hyde took the No. 1 reps in the absence of Williams, but Darrel Williams took the first reps on Thursday, perhaps suggesting a shift in the depth chart. The addition of Tremon Smith to the running back room likely means a cut will have to come from this group. https://www.kshb.com/sports/nick-jacobs-predicting-chiefs-53-man-roster-for-2019
