Nick Jacobs: Which free-agent DBs should Chiefs target?

Matt Derrick March 7, 2019

Cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Jason Verrett make sense for the Chiefs, and general manager Brett Veach has a penchant for buying low on players returning from injuries or looking for a bounce back season.

The free agent safety market is incredibly deep this season, which also means teams such as the Chiefs can find value beyond the big names. If the price for Landon Collins and Earl Thomas looks too high, Eric Weddle, Tre Boston, Kenny Vaccaro and Adrian Phillips could be great fits at a realistic price.
