KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs listed veteran cornerback Phillip Gaines among their inactives Saturday night against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Gaines played in each of the team’s first 13 games including two starts. The team also listed newcomer Keith Reaser inactive. That leaves the team with starters Marcus Peters and Steven Nelson along with backups Darrelle Revis, Terrance Mitchell and Kenneth Acker active among the cornerbacks.

The team listed safety Eric Murray (ankle)  along with linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (quad) and Tamba Hali (knee) as questionable entering the game but both will play. Murray returns after missing two games with a high ankle sprain.

The Chargers listed cornerback Casey Hayward questionable with a calf injury but he also plans to play in Saturday night’s game.

The Chiefs will be without center Mitch Morse and safety Steven Terrell. The club placed both players on injured reserve early this week.

CHIEFS INACTIVES

QB Tyler Bray, LB Ramik Wilson, LG Parker Ehinger, DT Justin Hamilton, CB Keith Reaser, S Leon McQuay and CB Phillip Gaines

CHARGERS INACTIVES

QB Cardale Jones, WR Geremy Davis, CB Craig Mager, OT Michael Ola, TE Sean Culkin, DE Jerry Attaochu and DE Isaac Rochell
