Breaking down inactives for Chiefs vs. Patriots

Matt Derrick September 7, 2017

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Chiefs safety Ron Parker will play Thursday night against the New England Patriots after being limited in practice this week with an ankle injury. The team listed Parker questionable for tonight’s game.

The Chiefs need only five inactives following the release of running back C.J. Spiller and offensive lineman Jordan Devey earlier today. The team carries an active roster of 51 players into the game and only 46 may be active.

Left guard Parker Ehinger and line backer Reggie Ragland are inactive. Both players continue recovering from ACL injuries sustained last season.

Other inactives include cornerback D.J. White, defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins and third-string quarterback Tyler Bray.

The Patriots will be without special teams star Matt Slater. He was questionable entering the game with a hamstring injury.

CHIEFS INACTIVES

QB Tyler Bray, CB D.J. White, DL Jarvis Jenkins, LG Parker Ehinger and LB Reggie Ragland.

PATRIOTS INACTIVES:

T Cameron Fleming, OL Cole Croston, S Nate Ebner, WR Matt Slater, LB Harvey Langi, DL Vincent Valentine and TE Jacob Hollister.
