Thursday injury report: week 6

Thursday injury report: week 6

Matt Derrick October 14, 2016

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs added linebackers Tamba Hali and Sio Moore to practice on Thursday, putting a full roster complement on the field ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

The team listed Hali as limited, continuing the team’s philosophy to rest the veteran linebacker and keeping him fresh for game days. Moore participated in his first full practice since joining the team after an illness earlier in the week.

The Chiefs may well rested following their bye week, but the Raiders have not proven as fortunate.

Running back Latavius Murray remains on the sideline with a toe injury that kept him out of the team’s week five win over San Diego. Reserver running back Taiwan Jones remained limited in practice with a knee injury.

Also notable on the Raiders injury list: starting tight end Clive Waldord, who ranks third on the team in receptions and receiving yards behind Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Starting right tackle Menelik Watson did not practice Thursday with a calf injury.
