Chiefs’ 2016 preseason slate features road games against Rams, Bears

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NFL on Thursday released the 2016 preseason schedule.

The Chiefs play the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams on the road, while hosting the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers at Arrowhead Stadium, according to the league’s announcement.

• Week 1, Aug. 11-15: Seahawks
• Week 2, Aug. 18-22: @ Rams
• Week 3, Aug. 25-28: @ Bears
• Week 4, Sept 1-2: Packers

Specific dates and times for the preseason games will be announced at a later time. All four preseason matchups will air live on KCTV5.

The regular season times and dates are expected to be released in late April.

Here are the Chiefs’ 2016 regular-season opponents:

HOME: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

AWAY: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers
