LB Ramik Wilson (back) returns to practice

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Chiefs on Friday morning wrapped up three days of practice with rookies, quarterbacks and select players ahead of veterans reporting in the afternoon.

And it came with good news.

Rookie linebacker Ramik Wilson, who missed the last two days of practice with a back injury, is apparently no longer on non-football injury list.

Wilson was observed on the practice field with his helmet on and participating in drills.

Meanwhile, quarterback Tyler Bray (knee) did not practice and remains on the non-football injury list.

Tight end Demetrius Harris (foot, physically unable to perform list) worked on the side with trainers.

Rookie wide receiver Chris Conley (knee) missed a second straight practice and worked with the trainers.

Rookie running back Keshawn Hill, who left Thursday’s practice with a hamstring injury, was not present on the field or in the trainers’ tent.

Second-year pro Aaron Murray was the lone signal caller taking part in drills, as veteran quarterbacks Alex Smith and Chase Daniel were not present and did not practice, which doesn’t surprise. Safety Eric Berry also was not present on the field.

The trio’s absence, however, shouldn’t cause alarm.

Coach Andy Reid has typically rested select veteran players the final rookie training camp practice before the team combines for the first full practice, which is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
