Chiefs waive OL Curtis Feigt

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs waived offensive lineman Curtis Feigt with a non-injury designation, according to Monday’s NFL Transaction report.

Feigt, who was listed on the official rookie minicamp roster, wasn’t present on the practice field for the three-day camp.

Coach Andy Reid said Saturday, the first day of the minicamp, Feigt was dealing with “hip issues.”

The 6-6, 310-pound Feigt originally entered the league in 2014 as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chiefs signed Feigt to the practice squad on Sept. 9 and he went on to have three stints on the practice squad during the regular season. Feigt signed a reserve/future deal on Dec. 29.

The Chiefs entered the weekend with 90 players on the offseason roster and are now at 89 with the waiving of Feigt.
