KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs enter their Thursday night matchup against the Oakland Raiders with a nearly healthy roster, which includes wide receiver Jeremy Maclin for the first time since he played the opening series against Jacksonville in week nine.
Only defensive linemen Dontari Poe and Kendall Reyes appeared questionable on the team’s final injury report heading into the game. Both appear on the active roster for the game and plan to play.
That means the Chiefs dress six defensive lineman for the game. In addition to Poe and Reyes, the team carries Rakeem Nunez-Roches, Kendall Reyes, Jarvis Jenkins and T. J. Barnes.
Cornerback Terrance Mitchell, recently promoted from the practice squad, earns a spot on the active roster ahead of cornerbacks Kenneth Acker and D.J. White. Acker earned extensive playing time following injuries to Phillip Gaines and Steven Nelson. White remains in a limited role since returning from a broken hand sustained in the first meeting with the Raiders in week six.
While the Chiefs appear in good health, the Raiders lose three starters for the game including left guard Kelechi Osemele and safety Karl Joseph. Osemele expected to play, but reports indicate he suffered an illness. Osemele was limited in practice leading up to the game with a knee injury.
The Raiders also are without starting defensive tackle Stacy McGee.
