The Chiefs released the final injury report from London with no surprises ahead of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions at Wembley Stadium.
And the only major question surrounded who will start for left guard Ben Grubbs, whom the Chiefs on Thursday ruled as out with a neck injury.
“We’re rotating a couple folks in there,” coach Andy Reid told reporters in London.
Reid, however, was coy as to the player filling in for Grubbs when pressed by the media.
“I’ll let you know on Sunday,” Reid said.
The Chiefs also previously ruled out defensive end Mike DeVito (concussion) and rookie linebacker Ramik Wilson (ankle) before flying overseas.
Outside linebacker Tamba Hali, who has been dealing with swelling in his knee, is listed as questionable. Hali, however, put in a full practice Friday, so he should be fine for the game barring a setback.
The Chiefs list tight end Travis Kelce (groin), wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (concussion), linebacker Josh Mauga (groin, Achilles), defensive tackle Dontari Poe (ankle), quarterback Alex Smith (right thumb) and running back Charcandrick West (pectoral) as probable.
Maclin, the team’s leading wide receiver, practiced fully the entire weeks and is set to return after missing Week 7 with the concussion suffered in Week 6.
“Jeremy’s had a good week of practice, no symptoms,” Reid told reporters. “He’s doing well.”
Meanwhile, the Lions list linebacker DeAndry Levy as out, but look on track to have three key offensive players on the field against the Chiefs.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford (quadricip), wide receiver Calvin Johnson (not injury related) and running back Joique Bell (ankle) are all listed as probable.
