KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Outside linebacker Justin Houston (elbow) returned to full practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday.
Houston’s fellow pass rusher, outside linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), also appears on track to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers after Hali put in a limited practice Thursday after missing Wednesday’s workout.
The outlook doesn’t appear good for wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (concussion) and defensive end Mike DeVito (concussion), as both players along with rookie linebacker Ramik Wilson (ankle, knee) missed a second straight of practice.
Defensive tackle Dontari Poe (ankle) remains limited in practice, placing his availability for Sunday in the air.
The Chiefs added safety Husain Abdullah to the injury report with a biceps injury, but he practiced without limitations.
Also putting in a full practice Thursday are wide receiver Chris Conley (knee), tight end Travis Kelce (facial laceration), inside linebacker Josh Mauga (groin, Achilles), kicker Cairo Santos (right foot) and quarterback Alex Smith (thumb).
The Steelers list starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (knee) as a limited participant for a second straight day, while his primary backup, Michael Vick (hamstring), has yet to practice.
Quarterback Landry Jones will start if Roethlisberger and Vick are out Sunday.
