KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chiefs running back Spencer Ware (rib) put in a limited practice Friday after missing the past two days and could be available Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Coach Andy Reid told reporters after Friday’s practice that Ware “did a nice job.”
The Chiefs officially list Ware as questionable, which indicates a 50-50 chance to play, along with guard Jeff Allen (ankle) on the final injury.
There are no surprises on the players who will not play Sunday, as safety Husain Abdullah (concussion), outside linebacker Justin Houston (knee) and wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas are officially designated as out.
Thomas will miss a fourth straight game since suffering the concussion in Week 11, while Abdullah will miss a third straight game.
Houston continues to miss time after suffering a hyperextended knee in Week 12.
Backup quarterback Chase Daniel had his foot stepped on during Thurday’s practice, but coach Andy Reid didn’t sound too concerned over Daniel’s availability.
“I think he’s going to be all right,” Reid said, “but he got stepped on pretty good.”
The Chiefs list Daniel as probable along with linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), defensive end Mike Devito (concussion, shoulder) and tight end Travis Kelce (groin, quadricep).
The Ravens tight end Crockett Gillmore (back) as out.
Quarteback Matt Schaub (chest) put in a full practice for a second straight day and is listed as probable. Jimmy Clausen is the likely starter if Schaub can’t play Sunday.
