The Chiefs’ inactives for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins carry no surprises.
Already declared out with injuries were outside linebacker Justin Houston (elbow), offensive tackle Branden Albert (knee) and tight end Anthony Fasano (concussion, knee).
Joining the trio as healthy scratches are quarterback Tyler Bray, center Eric Kush, offensive lineman Rishaw Johnson and defensive lineman Jaye Howard.
Meanwhile, linebacker Frank Zombo draws the start in Houston’s place for a second straight game. Donald Stephenson will start in place of Albert, and Sean McGrath starts for Fasano.
The Redskins’ list of inactives are quarterback Rex Grossman, defensive back Chase Minnifield, safety Brandon Meriweather, fullback Darrel Young, linebacker Brandon Jenkins, offensive lineman Josh LeRibeous and tight end Jordan Reed.
Winter wonderland
A little more than an hour from kickoff, tweets from reporters on the ground indicate weather could have a role in the game:
It’s 30 degrees with swirling snow for #Chiefs-wash
