KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs are without two wide receivers for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Wide receivers Donnie Avery (groin) and A.J. Jenkins (shoulder) are officially out for Week 11, as is cornerback Jamell Fleming (hamstring).
Avery, who underwent a sports hernia procedure in early October after suffering the injury in Week 4 against the New England Patriots, will miss his sixth straight game. He returned to practice last week, but has done so in a limited basis.
Jenkins started in Avery’s place during that span.
Down two wide receivers, the Chiefs are digging deep into the depth chart and will lean on wide receivers Frankie Hammond Jr., and rookie Albert Wilson. Hammond has one start this season.
“He’s going to play quite a bit,” coach Andy Reid said Friday of Hammond. “We’ll have some different personnel groups in there for him.”
Fleming will miss a third straight game since suffering the injury in Week 8.
The Chiefs list tight end Anthony Fasano (knee), cornerback Phillip Gaines (ankle, quad) and cornerback Chris Owens (knee) as questionable.
Fasano did not practice the entire week, meaning the Chiefs could lean on Phillip Supernaw, whom the Chiefs signed Tuesday from the Baltimore Ravens practice squad, to provide depth behind Travis Kelce (ribs, probable).
The Chiefs list the following as probable along with Kelce: Running back Jamaal Charles (shoulder, elbow), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), linebacker Josh Martin (hamstring, knee), linebacker Josh Mauga (groin), guard Mike McGlynn (knee) and cornerback Sean Smith (groin).
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (calf) returned to a full practice Friday after missing the past two days.
Seattle officially lists Lynch as questionable, but Seahawks beat writer Gregg Bell of the News Tribune points out an important statistic when it comes to running back:
More evidence “questionable” Marshawn Lynch will play yet again Sun at KC: He’s missed 1 game in 5 seasons with #Seahawks. 56 straight since

Also of note, Lynch missed two practices prior to Week 10’s game against the New York Giants and ended up with 140 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
