KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs list nine players on the initial injury report ahead of Sunday’s home season opener against the Tennessee Titans.
Backup center Eric Kush (shoulder) did not practice, but the other eight brought good news.
The Chiefs list strong safety Eric Berry (heel), defensive end Mike DeVito (hand), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), wide receiver Junior Hemingway (hip), wide receiver A.J. Jenkins (concussion), linebacker Josh Martin (quad), defensive lineman Vance Walker (hand) and wide receiver Albert Wilson (ankle) as full participants in Wednesday’s practice.
Berry missed all the preseason games, so seeing him practicing is a good sign he’ll be on the field.
Of note, running back Jamaal Charles, who dealt with a foot injury during the preseason, and left tackle Eric Fisher, who battled an illness the final week of preseason, are not listed.
The Titans list three players as limited participants, one being former Chiefs running back Jackie Battle.
