INDIANAPOLIS — Chiefs tackle Mitchell Schwartz and cornerback Phillip Gaines plan to take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium as the Chiefs take on the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon.

The Chiefs on Friday ruled out running back Jamaal Charles (knee), cornerback D.J. White (hand) and offensive lineman Jordan Devey (ankle) with injuries.

Gaines missed last week’s game against the Saints, while Schwartz sustained a sprained ankle in the game. The team listed Schwartz as questionable on Friday. Both players expect to start for the Chiefs.

Rounding out the team’s inactive list for the Colts game: quarterback Tyler Bray,  offensive lineman Bryan Witzmann

The game marks a homecoming of sorts for linebacker Sio Moore, who is listed as active for the first time since joining the team. Moore signed as a free agent with the Colts in 2015. The team released the him after week four this season.

Moore admitted his past adds more emotion to this game for him personally. But above any personal history, his emphasis remains on his new teammates.

“It has nothing to do with what’s happened to me,” Moore said this week. “It has everything to do with what we’re trying to do here now.”

The Chiefs initially signed Moore to add depth at outside linebacker where he began his career with the Oakland Raiders. The injury to Ramik Wilson, however, prompted the team to move Moore back inside where he played with the Colts.

The Colts will miss three starters, including left guard Jack Mewhort and tight end Dwayne Allen on offense. Defensive end Kendall Langford will miss the first game of his NFL career, bringing an end to his consecutive games played streak at 135.

Full Chiefs inactive list: RB Jamaal Charles, CB D.J. White, OL Jordan Devey, OL Bryan Witzmann, QB Tyler Bray, TE Ross Travis and LB Sam Barrington.

Full Colts inactive list:  G Jack Mewhort, TE Dwayne Allen, DE Kendall Langford, OLB Curt Maggitt, WR Chester Rogers, DT Henry Anderson and Le’Raven Clark.
