Sammy Watkins Among Six Chiefs Questionable Against Arizona in Week 10

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins and linebackers Anthony Hitchens and Justin Houston are among six players questionable for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals and likely game-time decisions for a contest in which the Chiefs lineup as prohibitive favorites.

Center Mitch Morse (concussion) and safety Eric Berry (heel) were the only players who did not practice Friday according to head coach Andy Reid.

"Everybody else in some form practiced today, and then we'll just see how things roll here," Reid said following Friday's practice.

Left guard Cam Erving (illness), safety Daniel Sorensen (knee) and linebacker Frank Zombo (hamstring) practiced in limited roles on Friday and are also listed as questionable.

Oddsmakers make the Chiefs a 16 1/2-point favorite over the Cardinals at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 10. That's the largest point spread by which the Chiefs have been favored in a game since a 1992 meeting with the New England Patriots. The Chiefs won that game 27-20.

With a trip to Mexico City next week against the Los Angeles Rams, the Chiefs face a balancing act between preparing Houston for a return as well as Sorensen, who just rejoined the roster this week from injured reserve. Reid didn't tip his hand this week regarding playing time for the two veterans, but said he would communicate with them regarding their comfort level on Sunday.

"Does (Sorensen) play every play? Probably not, but you never know how that thing goes," Reid said. "You just see how he feels. We'll do the same thing Justin, see how he feels and we roll from there. That's kind of how we've gone about over the years of doing business. It worked out OK with they guys."

The Chiefs practice indoors on Thursday with snow falling at the team's training facility. But the club moved back to the outdoor practice fields on Friday. Temperatures hovered near freezing with a northwesterly win gusting to 25 miles per hour dropping the wind chill down to 20 degrees.

"We needed a little bit of work in that," Reid said. "The guys did a good job with that."

The Cardinals enter Sunday's contest without starting wide receiver Chad Williams (ankle). Head coach Steve Wilks also ruled out backup defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche with a calf injury.
