KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs expect nearly a full complement on duty Sunday when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, with only safety Eric Berry sitting out practice Thursday.
But Berry did show a hopeful sign of returning soon by jogging alongside his fellow defensive backs and taking part in light stretching before practice.
The team did added rookie safety Armani Watts to the injury report with a groin injury but listed him as a full participant.
Linebacker Dee Ford (groin) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring) continued practicing on a limited basis.
Defensive end Chris Jones (shoulder), center Mitch Morse (back) and wide receiver Chris Conley (ankle) all practiced in full and appear on track to start Sunday.
The Jaguars meanwhile continue practicing with a long list of players limited on Thursday. The clubalready ruled out running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and cornerback D.J. Hayden (toe) for Sunday's game.
Three other offensive starters — center Brandon Linder (knee/back), left guard Andrew Norwell (foot) and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle injury) — practiced in limited roles Thursday after sitting out practice on Wednesday..
Backup running back T.J. Yelden (ankle), who expects to start in place of Fournette, remained limited in practice Thursday. Others limited in practice Thursday include defensive end Calais Campbell (ankle), right tackle Jeremy Parnell (knee) and right guard A.J. McCann (triceps).
