KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chiefs coach Andy Reid on Monday didn’t offer new information surrounding the injuries suffered by four starters during Sunday night’s loss to the Denver Broncos.
Reid said defensive end Mike DeVito (knee sprain), defensive end Tyson Jackson (abdominal), right guard Jon Asamoah (calf, shoulder) and right tackle Eric Fisher (shoulder) were pending MRIs.
“Once we get the MRI results and we get through that, we’ll get that information to you,” Reid told reporters during Monday’s media session.
At the defensive line, the Chiefs currently have backups Allen Bailey, Anthony Toribio, Mike Catapano and Jaye Howard on the active roster. Howard has mostly been inactive this season.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs also have Josh Martin, who is listed at linebacker and defensive end, on the practice squad.
For the offensive line, the Chiefs currently have backups Donald Stephenson, Geoff Schwartz, Rokevious Watkins, Rishaw Johnson and Eric Kush.
Stephenson and Schwartz have versatility to play guard or either tackle position.
The Chiefs signed Watkins from the practice squad to the active roster during Week Nine. Watkins has been a healthy inactive since, along with Johnson and Kush, who is starting center Rodney Hudson’s primary backup.
There are currently no offensive lineman on the practice squad.
