He is scheduled for arraignment in Johnson County court at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The Chiefs acquired Pierre-Louis in July from Seattle in a trade sending linebacker D.J. Alexander to the Seahawks. He played 14 games for the Chiefs last season, picking up 25 tackles. He finished the season sharing time with Derrick Johnson at inside linebacker.
Pierre-Louis made $690,000 last season in the final year of a four-year rookie contract. He is slated to be an unrestricted free agent during when the league’s free agency period begins
