Good news, bad news for former Chiefs in Indianapolis. Running back Spencer Ware lands on the Physically Unable to Perform/Reserve list, which appears likely to end his season. But claiming his roster spot is linebacker Dadi Nicolas, a former Chief with his own injury history. Nicolas suffered a ruptured patellar tendon in 2016 and missed all of the 2017 season. He spent time with Seattle and Washington last season, but has played a regular season game since the 2016 finale.

Colts general manager Chris Ballard was a part of the Chiefs front office when the club selected Nicolas in the sixth round of the 2016 draft. https://twitter.com/Colts/status/1157415188917866497
