PHILADELPHIA – The spotlight forever shines on NFL players, but the glare is brighter when a player is the No. 1 pick overall.

Enter Kansas City Chiefs right tackle Eric Fisher, the team’s top selection in April’s NFL Draft.

Fisher more often than not found himself being pushed around on national TV and had a bad holding penalty against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s early before the half and the Chiefs have time to make adjustments, such as getting him some help, but it didn’t take long for Twitter to notice.

Jamaal Charles is blocking better than Eric Fisher. I’ll take things I never thought I’d say for $500…

Eric Fisher is getting abused tonight. Chiefs might need to replace him or Smith will get killed

Fisher. Again. Horrible night.

Boy, Fisher is having a rough night. Failed to recognize the outside blitz and is called for holding. #Chiefs

Not impressed by #1 overall pick Eric Fisher at all so far. Already had 3 terrible plays & a mental error.

Man, Eric Fisher has been bad so far this season… And these play-action passes don’t work without at least trying to run the ball. #Chiefs

Looks like we’re picking another 1st round offensive lineman.
