Eric Fisher, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Set for Return to Chiefs Lineup

Eric Fisher, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Set for Return to Chiefs Lineup

Matt Derrick November 16, 2019

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs appear ready to welcome back left tackle Eric Fisher and right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif to the lineup on Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers.

“I thought they did a good job,” Reid said of the duo's work in practice this week. “They worked in and did well, did everything we asked them to do.”

To find the last time the Chiefs opened a game with the starting offensive line they started the season with, one must go all the way back to the Week 2 contest at Oakland. Fisher left that game after four snaps, and the Chiefs have juggled a myriad of injuries along the offensive line.

Tight Blake Bell (ankle), defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle) and defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah won't play against the Chargers, Reid said.

Cornerback Kendall Fuller (thumb) was limited in practice after putting in full workouts on Thursday and Friday. He's listed as questionable along with running back Damien Williams, whom the club excused from practice Friday and Saturday for personal reasons.

Right tackle Mitchell Schwartz (knee) was limited in practice all three practices this week, but he has no game status tag and will play Monday night.

The Chargers enter the game with offensive line injuries of their own with right tackle Sam Tevi out and left tackle Russell Okung questionable.
