KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two more players of the Chiefs’ 2016 nine-member draft class are officially under contract.
Rookie cornerback Eric Murray, the second of three fourth-round picks (106th overall), and wide receiver Tyreek Hill, the second of two fifth-round picks (165th overall), signed their respective deals, the Chiefs announced Monday.
Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
The addition of Murray and Hill leaves cornerback KeiVarae Russell, a third-round pick (74th overall), as the lone player of the Chiefs’ selections to remain unsigned.
Defensive lineman Chris Jones (37th overall), offensive lineman Parker Ehinger (105th overall), wide receiver Demarcus Robinson (126th overall), quarterback Kevin Hogan (162nd overall), cornerback D.J. White (178th overall) and outside linebacker Dadi Nicolas (203rd overall) signed on May 6, a day before the rookie minicamp.
The Chiefs’ rookie class will merge with veterans when the team returns to the practice field for voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) on May 24.
