KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs don’t list running back Jamaal Charles among Monday night’s inactive players.
Charles missed Week 3 with an ankle injury suffered in Week 2.
With Charles back in the lineup, look for second-year pro Knile Davis to resume his role as Charles’ primary backup.
Davis will also likely take over returner duties.
The Chiefs, list rookie running back/wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas (hamstring) as inactive for Monday night’s game against the New England Patriots.
Thomas practiced in a limited basis the past week, but will miss a fourth straight regular-season game since injuring his hamstring on Sept. 3.
The other Chiefs inactives are quarterback Aaron Murray, strong safety Eric Berry (ankle), guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, running back Joe McKnight (Achilles), defensive end Damion Square and and wide receiver Albert Wilson.
Berry and McKnight were officially listed as out on Saturday’s final injury report.
Defensive back Ron Parker will start a second straight game in Berry’s place.
