KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chiefs second-year running back Charcandrick West (hamstring) is inactive against the Buffalo Bills.
West suffered the injury in Week 11 and gave way to Spencer Ware, who will start in West’s spot.
Ware proved his worth in relief of West last week against the San Diego Chargers, rushing for 96 yards and two touchdown on 11 carries.
Third-year running back Knile Davis is active for the first time since Week 9 and will offer depth behind Ware.
The remaining inactives are quarterback Aaron Murray, wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas (concussion), outside linebacker Dee Ford (back), guard Ben Grubbs (neck), defensive lineman David King and defensive end Allen Bailey (calf).
Defensive end Jaye Howard will start in Bailey’s spot, while Dontari Poe draws the start at defensive tackle.
The Bills’ key inactives are defensive linemen Mario Williams (foot) and Kyle Williams (knee).
