KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The reigning Super Bowl champions will begin the trek to defend their title on July 23 when the Chiefs full squad embarks on the beginning of training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
The schedule includes a total of 19 practices, 17 open to the general public and two reserved for season ticket members. Select players will sign autographs after each practice, and the even list includes an NFL Back Together Weekend, Chiefs Alumni Day, Family Fun Day and Military Appreciation Day.
Rookies and quarterbacks will report to camp on July 19 with a three-day minicamp running July 20-22. The remaining veterans are set to report on July 22.
This will mark the 13th journey up Interstate 29 for the Chiefs, who have made St. Joseph their summer residence since 2010. The only exception occurred in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fans attending training camp must reserve tickets in advance on the team’s website. Tickets are $5 on July 23, July 29 and Aug. 5. Tickets on other days are free. All tickets are mobile entry online and available through the team’s mobile app.
Missouri Western will charge a $5 parking fee per vehicle per day. Parking will be free on season ticket member exclusive days. Parking purchases can also be made when reserving tickets.
If weather or field conditions force the team to work out indoors, practice will be closed to the general public. The club will announce practice status updates on its social media platforms.
