KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs designated 10 players as “not expected to play” Friday night against the Tennessee Titans.
The players not dressing are offensive linemen Jeff Allen (knee), Eric Fisher (ankle) and Tavon Rooks (shortness of breath); quarterback Tyler Bray (knee); tight end Demetrius Harris (foot); wide receivers De’Anthony Thomas (calf) and Junior Hemingway (hip); linebackers Josh Mauga (heel) and rookie Justin March (knee); and defensive tackle Dontari Poe (back).
Allen, who suffered a knee injury in the preseason opener, and Fisher will miss a second straight preseason game.
Thomas has missed two straight preseason games after suffering his injury in the preseason opener.
Mauga, who will also miss a second straight preseason game, returned to practice earlier in the week, while March underwent knee surgery to repair a meniscus tear suffered in the preseason opener. Rookie Ramik Wilson will likely start in Mauga’s place.
Bray, Harris, Rooks, Hemingway and Poe haven’t played in the preseason.
