Chiefs make two moves

Chiefs make two moves

Herbie Teope December 17, 2013

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs placed tight end Dominique Jones to the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list and terminated the contract of wide receiver Jheranie Boyd, according to Tuesday’s NFL Transactions report.

Jones has provided depth at the tight end position while starter Anthony Fasano recovered from a concussion and knee injury.

The Chiefs originally signed Jones to the practice squad in Week 9 before elevating him from the practice squad in Week 14 to the active roster.

Boyd joined the Chiefs practice squad last week before being released.
