KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs linebacker Dee Ford looks ready to go for Monday night's game at the Denver Broncos despite battling a groin injury this week, head coach Andy Reid indicated Saturday.
“I think he will probably go unless he has a setback here, but he had a good day today,” Reid said following Saturday's practice.
Only safety Eric Berry (heel) appears doubtful for the game. Berry hasn't practiced since Aug. 11.
The Broncos enter the game with a number on the defensive side, including linebacker Brandon Marshall, who is questionable with a knee injury.
All three of the Broncos backup cornerbacks appear on the injury report, with Tramaine Brock (thigh) listed as doubtful and Adam Jones (thigh) and Isaac Yiadom (knee) questionable. The Broncos have struggle this season at nickel back behind starters Chris Harris and Bradley Roby.
Reserve tight end Jake Butt won't play for the Broncos after suffering an ACL injury this week. He expects to go on injured reserve but remains on the active roster for now.
