KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs’ inactive list for Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos carries no surprises.
The Chiefs list quarterback Aaron Murray, rookie cornerback Steven Nelson, outside linebacker Dezman Moses, offensive lineman Jeff Allen, tight end Brian Parker, wide receiver Frankie Hammond Jr., and rookie defensive end Rakeem Nunez-Roches as inactive.
Allen (knee) was listed as probable after practicing fully the entire week, but will miss a second straight game since suffering his injury in the preseason opener.
The Chiefs will have seven offensive linemen available for the game: Donald Stephenson, Ben Grubbs, rookie Mitch Morse, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Eric Fisher, Jah Reid and Zach Fulton.
It remains to be seen if Fisher, who did not start in Week 1 as he continues to recover from a high-ankle sprain, resumes his position at right tackle.
Jah Reid, who took the majority of first-team repetitions Tuesday, would make a second straight start if Fisher can’t go.
