ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Chiefs added four players to the list of injured at training camp.
Tight end Ryan Taylor (quad), rookie offensive linemen Garrett Frye (left knee), wide receiver Armon Binns (left knee) and defensive linemen Nick Williams (concussion) all left Friday’s practice with their respective injuries.
Taylor was observed leaving the practice field after catching a pass during 11-on-11 drills and taking a low hit. The fifth-year pro stayed on the ground before limping off to the sideline where he was met by trainers.
With Taylor leaving the field and Demetrius Harris (foot) on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, the Chiefs finished practice with four healthy tight ends: Travis Kelce, Richard Gordon, rookie James O’Shaughnessy and Adam Schiltz.
Binns suffered his second injury in a third practice since Tuesday. The third-year pro left Tuesday’s practice with an ankle injury, but returned Wednesday before Friday’s injury.
Harris, quarterback Tyler Bray (knee), linebacker James-Michal Johnson (calf) and rookie wide receivers Chris Conley (knee) and Jeret Smith (hamstring) did not practice and worked with trainers off to the side.
Defensive tackle Dontari Poe (back) and wide receiver Junior Hemingway (hip) were not present on the practice field.
