KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles, defensive tackle Dontari Poe, outside linebacker Justin Houston and outside linebacker Tamba Hali were named to the Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Tuesday.
This marks the fourth Pro Bowl for Charles, who previously made it in 2010, 2012 and 2013). The seventh-year pro has 979 yards rushing on 193 carries and 238 yards receiving on 38 catches with 14 total touchdowns (nine rushing).
Houston, whose 18 sacks lead the league, is named to his third straight Pro Bowl appearance. The fourth-year pro ranks fourth on the team with 63 tackles (54 solo) and has three forced fumbles on the season.
Hali is named to his fourth straight Pro Bowl and has six sacks on the season. The ninth-year pro ranks fifth on the team with 57 tackles (45 solo) and has three forced fumbles.
Poe, a third-year pro, is named to his second-straight Pro Bowl. The third-year pro has five sacks on the season and ranks eighth on the team with 43 tackles (36 solo).
The Pro Bowl teams will be selected in a draft format. The game will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on Jan. 25, 2015.
