KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs added another primetime appearance to their schedule with the NFL moving the Nov. 27 game against the Denver Broncos to primetime. The game now kicks of at 7:30 p.m. central time on NBC Sunday Night Football.
The move means that three of the team’s final six games are now scheduled as primetime games. The Chiefs host the Oakland Raiders at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 8 on Thursday Night Football. The rematch with the Broncos kicks off Christmas Night at 7:30 p.m. at Arrowhead Stadium.
The flex schedule moves the New England at New York Jets game previously scheduled for Sunday night to 3:25 p.m. on CBS.
The five-game winning streak brings the national spotlight on the team, but the Chiefs record at night under Coach Andy Reid stands just 2-6. But the Chiefs hold a five-game losing streak in primetime games.
