KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NFL on Monday released all 2016 regular-season games and the Chiefs’ opponents are officially revealed.
The Chiefs will play the annual six AFC West divisional games in addition to swings through the AFC South and NFC South. The two intraconference games featured the Chiefs hosting the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium and a road game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
Here is how the Chiefs’ opponents shape out:
HOME: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
AWAY: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers
Of note, the Chiefs will not play the Buffalo Bills for the first time since the 2007 season. Kansas City and Buffalo previously met in eight straight regular-season games (2008-15).
The official dates and times for the Chiefs’ games will be announced in the spring.
