The Chiefs front office ranks Frank Clark as one of the two best pass rushers in the league, according to Yahoo Sports’ Terez Paylor. It’s a good thing because they’re paying him like it.

The club views Clark as a durable young player (turns 26 in June) with a non-stop motor and nasty streak. He better fits their new 4-3 scheme in their vision than Justin Houston or Dee Ford, and fits with the mentality of Tyrann Mathieu and other newcomers on defense.
