Chiefs bring back TE Adam Schiltz to practice squad

Chiefs bring back TE Adam Schiltz to practice squad

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Chiefs tweaked the 10-man practice squad Tuesday after losing a player to another team.

Kansas City signed tight end Adam Schiltz to replace long snapper Charley Hughlett, whom the Cleveland Browns signed to its active 53-man roster.

Tuesday marked the third time this season the Chiefs signed the 6-4, 256-pound Schiltz to the practice squad.

Schiltz, who played collegiately at Emporia State, spent training camp with the Chiefs after being claimed off waivers from the Tennessee Titans on July 26. The Chiefs released Schiltz on Aug. 24.

The Chiefs then signed Schiltz to the practice squad on Sept. 9, but waived him on Sept. 16.

Schiltz returned to the practice squad on Nov. 11 before the Chiefs waived him on Dec. 17.
